Deliverance form the "Man of Evil" in the Last Days

Prov 2:12-15  to deliver you from the way of the evil man, from the man who speaks wicked things; (13)  those who leave the paths of uprightness to walk in the ways of darkness,  (14)  who rejoice to do evil and delight in the perversities of the wicked;  (15)  whose ways are crooked, and are devious in their paths.

Knowledge and wisdom will guard you form the "Evil Man" who speaks "wicked" things. We will find out who the "Evil Man" is and the "wicked" things he is proclaiming. We will first look at the things he speaks, the fruit of his lips to get a better understanding of who he really is:

Wicked is the word "tahpukah" that means; perverted, forward, fraud, perverse.

This word 'wicked' or "tahpukah" is first used in Scripture in Deut 32:20 where it describes a wicked generation, a people who have no faith. This shows us that the "Evil Man" speaks perverse, perverted, fraud and false things as well as words that has no faith.

Perverted means to turn from that which is right, to something that is wrong or corrupt.

Fraud means; to trick or deceive someone, to gain or obtain advantage over someone, unjust gain, falsehood and suppressing the truth.

This means that the followers of Knowledge and Wisdom (continuing from Prov 2:10) will be able to discern between truth & lies, the right way & the wrong way, just gain and trickery and ultimately; True & False Teachers/Prophets. Knowledge & Wisdom will guard you from being deceived by false doctrines and lies so that you will know clearly the Way to travel on that leads to righteousness and salvation. Where do we find Knowledge & Wisdom? We find it in the Word of YHVH and those who study His Word will be equipped to discern the ways of the "Evil Man". Y'shua warned us that there will be many false Teachers, Mat 7:15, so that we will know that the enemy has his tactics in place to deceive YHVH's people through their trickery, leading them astray.

Mat 7:15  Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

The place where "wolves" is first used in Scripture is:

Eze 22:25-28  A plot by her prophets is in her midst, like a roaring lion tearing the prey. They have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things; they multiplied her many widows in her midst.  (26)  Her priests have broken My Law and have defiled My holy things. They have put no difference between the holy and the common, and have not taught between the unclean and the clean, and have hidden their eyes from My Sabbaths, and I am defiled among them.  (27)  Her rulers in her midst are like wolves tearing the prey, to shed blood and to destroy souls, to get unjust gain.  (28)  And her prophets have daubed themselves with lime, seeing vanity and divining lies to them, saying, "So says the Lord God"; when YHVH has not spoken.

The "Woman" described here is the Religious System created and led by the "Evil Man", run and administered by his False Prophets/Teachers. This passage is written in "End Time" context where YHVH's fury will burn upon these people. Listen to this warning and seek Knowledge & Wisdom above all things so that you may not be deceived and led astray thinking you are ok but actually being far from YHVH.

There are false teachers and Prophets that teach heresies and they feed off the flock because of covetousness.

2Tim 4:3  For a time will be when they will not endure sound doctrine, but they will heap up teachers to themselves according to their own lusts, tickling the ear.

People do not want to hear the Truth because they are happy the way they are and do not want to change. They rather listen to people that agree with their current lifestyle than to someone who teaches the Truth from the Word of YHVH. We all have the tendency towards this "comfortable" lifestyle and faith, rather than seeking the Knowledge & Truth that will change us. YHVH warns His people of these 'wolves' that will come among the flock, who will do the following:

  • They teach liberty and break YHVH's Instructions as a result.
  •  They teach defilement of YHVH's Holy things; things that He call Holy is no longer Holy (Sabbath, Feasts, Clean & Unclean)
  •  They shed blood - In a spiritual sense use words to "kill" the reputation of those upholding YHVH's Word.
  •  They get unjust gain - Teach Prosperity that only works one way; fending off the 'flock' to enrich themselves.
  • They are dubbed with lime, they are "white" on the outside like white washed graves with dead bones inside; they appear righteous but are wicked and have evil motives.
  •  They seek vanity - Vanity means falsehood, they appear as someone they are not.          They speak divining lies by saying: "...the Lord said this...and the Lord said that...", but YHVH has not spoken.

All of these things are evident in many Churches today and we see that this prophecy is coming true in our time. This is in line with the passage in Rev 3:14-22 where it describes the state of the Church in the last generation, the Church of Laodicea.

Laodicea means; people ruling, lukewarm, blind and naked.

This Church only received reproof form YHVH because of the bad state it is in but we as teh Church today do not even notice that there is something wrong. We think we are ok and hope for revival and the rapture. So sad but true... This city was renown for its fine garments and prosperity. YHVH saw them as poor and naked and because of their lukewarm state, threatens to spew them out. You are lukewarm when you mix hot (YHVH's things) with cold (worldly things) and loose your passion for the truth.
